The result: a new form of “mobile marketeer” is on the rise with the next coming generation of tablet savvy youth. But first, this brings up a much bigger, more important issue: The world wide web has changed now, into something it’s never been before. Much the same as the iPad gives the individual complete creative control over their environment, the web now does the same through social media. High powered audio, video and graphic design were once elusive and expensive and required an “in” into the industry in order to be around the expensive equipment I’ll give you a perfect example:

Let’s say you want to digitally brand an online marketing logo that would be the identity of your business when seen online through social media. I was doing marketing for my father’s very prestigous, high-end design/build cabinetry shop. They’ve been in business for forty years, and they’ve had a website up for the last 15. Their website was their only form of online marketing for themselves, and they didn’t know SEO, so their was little for them to actively continue doing to ensure that their website traffic grew.
The introduction of social media (the simplified and more emotional, personal, and colorful version of the original Blog concept) has completely changed the way a small business owner can interact and pursue potential customers or clients. It used to be that websites were just for business, because they required time and money, and the rest of the internet world was identified by their email, window shopping webpages and “browsing”. Now, back to reality, and enough of my dad’s generation. MY generation has instant access to all the references, reviews, research that it wants, in order to find a fair bargin or honest seri=vice. Also, there are more than enough professionals in just about every industry that one can almost choose from one that they personally like, for whatever inane reason, mabye just becuase they remind them of someone they like, or they are similar in one way or another. he point is, gone is the fear of who your’re dealing with and gone is hopeining you like the one you poick. here are so many that you can pick the one you like, and he has to do well, or he knows he’ll never get referral work again, becuase you’ll pick another business.
