Thomas Jefferson’s Architect Mahogany Desk
Designed by Thomas Jefferson, the original source for this impeccable, one-time-only, reproduction resides at Monticello. The solid mahogany piece incorporates an adjustable drafting surface, typical of an architect’s desk. Two-piece, front legs (shown here in their extended position) pull forward to reveal the leather, writing surface, which lifts to access storage, below.
